The Stringless Wonder is a very simple stick and tissue airplane that has wonderful flying characteristics. If you have never constructed a built-up balsa model, this is the one to start with. All of the components are straight balsa square sticks and the tissue is glued onto the frame and that's the end of it ( no shrinking or painting required). The finished flying machine is 15 inches long with almost a 10 inch wingspan. Being of a lifting body design, the entire airplane is lifting surface. It has won 1st place at the Northrop Flying Wing Contest with a FIVE minute flight! |
