We realize that the photograph of this meteorite doesn’t look like much but they are small and hard to photograph with any amount of detail.These meteorites were found at the Odessa Meteor Crater located in western Texas. Each specimen is contained in a one inch square plastic viewing box with interesting information about the meteorite included. The keepsake display plastic box is 2.75 inches high. The Odessa meteorite impacted an estimated 200,000 years ago and these meteorites are classified as coarse octahedrites. It’s hard to find inexpensive meteorite samples but yet here they are! |
