The Make A Clock Kit is really a first-class item. It is designed for ages 6 and up and contains 18 parts. Assembly instructions come in the form of a poster which is graphically based with no written words so that even smaller people can - with some help - figure it out (this alone would be a great confidence builder in using instructional schematic drawings). The mechanism is spring-wound so no batteries are necessary - what an interesting concept!. The whole clock is transparent so you can see all the inner workings and the colorful gears add to the aesthetic appeal.
