Our Pursuit Steam Boat uses a small candle (4 are included) to provide a flame which actually turns water into steam inside the boiler. The steam putt-putts out the stern of the boat thus propelling it forward. The very well made metal boat is 8 inches long and features classic graphics of a bygone era. The original toy steam boat was invented in 1891. The boat obviously runs hot, so if used by little sailers, those under 9 must be closely monitored. Comes in a very nice gift box. |
